Listen, are you breathing just a little, and calling it a life?
- Mary Oliver
Seeking therapy is a brave step; thank you for considering my practice.
I work best with clients motivated to do deep work and build self-insight. These clients are 16+ and may be experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, destabilization, confusion, shame, increased vulnerability, loss, or some combination.
You may feel like the tools you used before are no longer working in the face of a new challenge, a new identity, or a new life stage. It can be transformative to have a therapist walk alongside you as you navigate the complexities of these life changes.
The goal is not just to reduce your symptoms, but to also access new skills and more authentic ways of being. This may mean building acceptance for the way things are while developing new skills to make changes. It is my firm belief that you already possess the inner wisdom to know what is next for you; my role is to listen and empower you to get to that place.
My Approach
My therapy centers on empathetic listening and spaciousness. We explore both spoken and unspoken experiences. While I primarily use a relational psychodynamic approach, my focus will always be on building trust and cultivating genuine curiosity for who you are. I’ve witnessed profound progress when clients feel safe and held enough in the relationship to take risks.
